DESCRIPTION:Every year the Pontifical Mission Society’s\, Missionary Chil
 dhood Association\, hosts a mass for its members at the Cathedral of Our
  Lady of the Angels during the month of October. This year\, the MCA Mas
 s will take place on Wednesday\, October 14\, 2026. During the mass we r
 ecognize and thank the children for their missionary efforts. Encouragin
 g them to always reflect the light of Christ in the world by answering t
 heir call to mission starting at home. As October is the month of the Mi
 ssions\, this mass always takes place the week before World Mission Sund
 ay. Please note: Students and Catholic schools have priority for this Ma
 ss. Others are invited to join and pray for the children of our Archdioc
