DESCRIPTION:This theology course provides space for students to engage in
  central concepts of the nature and sources of Catholic Theology on Divi
 ne Revelation. Among other objectives the course will: explain reasons f
 or belief in the existence of God. Give examples of how God communicates
  with us from Scriptures\, tradition\, and lived experience. Explain how
  God’s plan of salvation came to fullness through Jesus Christ. Help to 
 identify faith as our response to God’s revelation. And give an example 
 of how we work with God’s grace to respond in faith to life situations.

 Dr. Matthew Ramage is Professor of Theology at Benedictine College where
  he is co-director of its Center for Integral Ecology. He is also Adjunc
 t Professor and Concentration Chair of Sacred Scripture for the Holy Apo
 stles College and Seminary graduate program. In addition to his other sc
 holarly and outreach endeavors\, he is author\, contributing author\, or
  translator of over fifteen books\, including Dark Passages of the Bible
 : Engaging Scripture with Benedict XVI and Thomas Aquinas (CUA Press\, 2
 013)\, Jesus\, Interpreted: Benedict XVI\, Bart Ehrman\, and the Histori
 cal Truth of the Gospels (CUA Press\, 2017)\, The Experiment of Faith: P
 ope Benedict XVI on Living the Theological Virtues in a Secular Age (CUA
  Press\, 2020)\, and Christ’s Church and World Religions (Sophia Institu
 te Press\, 2020). His latest book\, From the Dust of the Earth: Benedict
  XVI\, the Bible\, and the Theory of Evolution\, was published by CUA Pr
 ess in 2022. He lives in Atchison\, Kansas with his wife\, Jen\, and the
