Every week, parishes and communities across the Archdiocese of Los Angeles open their doors. A feast day Mass, a holy hour, a talk, a fiesta, a morning spent serving meals. The work is already being done, by pastors and volunteers and religious brothers and sisters. It is simply hard to find in one place.

This site gathers what they publish and lists it plainly, so that anyone looking for a way in can find one near them. Nothing here belongs to us. Every event belongs to the parish or community holding it, and every listing links back to them.

Who it is for

Anyone. Someone new to Los Angeles. Someone coming back to the Church after years away. Someone who has been at the same parish for decades and has never heard what the parish down the street is doing. If you are looking for people to pray with, learn with, or work beside, this is a place to start.

How events get here

A timer checks the public calendars of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Angelus News and the archdiocesan Young Adult Ministry office several times a day, reads them as data, and sorts each event by the words in it. No artificial intelligence is needed to run this site. Parish calendars and weekly bulletins are being added next.

Anyone can send us an event, by pasting the announcement, a link or a flyer. A person reads every submission before it appears. If we get something wrong, please tell us and we will fix it.

Confession and adoration times for a growing number of parishes are in the Guide, each with the day we checked it with the parish. For a parish not there yet, masstimes.org is a good place to look, and the parish’s own website is the final word.

Getting it right

Details change, and parishes are the final word on their own events. Every listing links to its source so you can check before you drive. If a time is wrong, an event is cancelled, or a parish is missing, use the submit page.

The site is built to the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard, with text contrast well above the required level, full keyboard operation, and no meaning carried by colour alone. If anything here is hard to read or hard to use, please tell us. That is a fault worth fixing.
